About Me:
Imagine you're deep in a Mayan jungle, where freedom fighters are said to find refuge amongst the trees. The ancestors of those guerrillas are long gone. With the roar from deep within the jungle, the primal call of jaguar, you embrace the role of explorer, pushing you along - to explore and climb into darkness.
We can't always be lost in the moment in a jungle. Sometimes when I daydream at my desk I imagine the people who fall into my surveys. What are their desires? When asleep, do they find themselves atop a surfboard, cutting through the swell of an azure ocean? Do they dream for their own futures or imagine themselves to be someone else completely?
When not imagining other people, I love spending time with real-world friends (as opposed to the Calvin to my Hobbes) walking through the city greenbelts or just hanging out with some fine wine and great food. I recently finished a wonderful meditation on Joburg inspiring me to uncover city secrets beyond the landscape of Jacaranda trees. Getting lost in the roar of a jaguar keeps driving me: in the next few months I am planning to revisit the rarefied air of Himalayan hiking trails. And tomorrow I am stepping out of my comfort shell to try my hand (or is that body?) at yoga. Wish me luck :)
Looking For:
Last time I was round these here parts I was a young warthog. But time brings metamorphosis and now you find me - the 182 year old swamp thing looking for his batwoman.
So what do I want? The promising clichés of a Rupert Holmes song may be a start but I want more! I want to be wined and dined damnit! Kissing, cuddles, candlelit sensual massages. Puppies and chocolate wouldn't go amiss. This 182 year old mortal coil ain't gonna soften itself. It may be wrinkly but it is still fine.
So what makes prospective batgirl my batwoman?
Not near fatal blindness causing her to look beyond this swamp Methuselah. You radiate with excitement at the possibilities the world presents for experience and discovery. You share your wanderlust and heighten the experiences of those around you. Your creativity is fulfilled through your thoughts, words and the myriad ways you employ your fine form. Too much fun can be dangerous. If you know what you want and do not fear the fun, glide over on your words to my open mind...
